Artist statement
I chose the greens in a lot of different shades because of the vast expanses of green that were in Vietnam. I chose the black and brown, because that added with the green makes camouflage, which is symbolic of the army. I chose the red because it's the color of blood, and there was a ton of fatalities and injuries.
